You know nothing about M1 hold laws but all about making them more stringent? They're supposed to provide for access to an attorney but why would somebody need one since people are just trying to help them, right? Exactly what happens. (It's to "placate".) Like bad things just can't happen to somebody locked in a psych unit - or it would be their fault for allowing themselves to be in the position to allow that to happen to them because somebody like you wouldn't ever allow yourself to be locked up, right? ... like everybody's intentions are good & that's what matters (to you) & sadistic people wouldn't work in the mental health field ... it just all doesn't affect you so you have the "gummit" to take care of the problem. You assume that everybody in business that has direct interaction with people who are vulnerable and disadvantaged to be ethical & honest, or at least enough legal oversight to keep them honest, right? But they're of your same culture (social strata) - they get away with breaking laws - what, you think I'm exaggerating? They get away with breaking laws that affect people who are marginalized - do you get that? It doesn't affect you directly so you don't care. In a way it does affect you, though. A property management company worth millions got away with not fixing a door opener mechanism on a handicap accessible door for months. It was an interior door but a heavy glass one that is intended to be connected to a powered opener. The equivalent door on the leasing office end of the apt building would often be blocked open (even though its opener worked) but the management insisted that the one that was broken stay closed. The property management company are your people ... your peers, as far as I'm concerned, they didn't care since it's a low income designated building, do you see? You think I must not get something about it, right? You are still ready to defend them - that's just it. The whole deal was degrading and there was definitely racism involved - you think I must be wrong or exaggerating still, don't you? Of course you do! There's more to it than what I can provide here - you won't bother reading any of this, anyway. http://www.atadcrazy.org/media/inop-ada-door.mp4 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daniel • Lakewood, CO Scott the DPD never gave away free anything. They would steal money from an average Americans weekly income and call it tax, then use that money to buy said steering wheel locks, why not just lower taxes so each individual can decide to buy their own lock for a steering wheel. Taxation is theft
