Why would the threat of rent controls cause any financial difficulty for the owners, George Kerber? As for shortfalls due to the eviction moratoriums there was attention given to the situation that the owners were faced with too with the Property Owner Preservation (POP) Program. Why didn't you reference that but say something to the effect of "but the gov't wasn't covering all the deficit" or whatever so that was lying by omission on your part. There are loans still available through Colorado SBA loans offered through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. How unfair to have to get a loan, huh? In my experience as a renter a typical property owner and management of apartments have nothing but contempt for housing assistance vouchers since it requires a few more minutes of their time.
